V60 is making its debut in India today (August 12) at 12 pm IST, as the latest model succeeding the V50 that was introduced in February. The launch event will be broadcast live across Vivo India’s social media channels and YouTube, with the device expected to be available on Flipkart, Amazon, and Vivo’s online store following the launch.
The V60 is equipped with a Zeiss-branded triple rear camera system, complemented by AI-driven imaging and productivity features. This new device runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, which Vivo asserts offers a 27 percent enhancement in CPU performance and a 30 percent increase in GPU capabilities. It will operate on Funtouch OS 15, based on Android 15.
Reports indicate that the handset is likely to be priced between ₹37,000 and ₹40,000. It will be offered in Auspicious Gold, Mist Grey, and Moonlit Blue colour variants.
Anticipated specifications feature a 6.67-inch curved AMOLED display boasting a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, with a hole-punch cutout for the front camera and slender bezels. The rear camera system is expected to include a 50MP Sony IMX766 main sensor with OIS, a 50MP Sony IMX882 telephoto lens, and an ultra-wide camera, while the front will feature a 50MP selfie camera.
The V60 will also come with a robust 6,500mAh battery, although specifics regarding charging speed remain undisclosed.
