The showcase commenced with the much-anticipated announcement: Forza Horizon 6 is officially set in Japan. Developed by Playground Games, this latest instalment promises the most extensive map in the series’ history, featuring a meticulously crafted version of Tokyo, complete with winding mountain drift tracks and vast rural settings.
To the excitement of many gamers, Forza Horizon 6 dispenses with the in-game “Superstar” and “social media” elements. Instead, players embark on their experience as an everyday tourist in Japan, gradually making their way to the top of the Horizon Festival.
Scheduled for release in India on 19 May 2026, Forza Horizon 6’s Standard Edition is expected to retail at Rs 5,999. Additionally, the game will be available on Xbox Game Pass from launch day, providing a more budget-friendly option for players eager to navigate the streets of Tokyo.
