YouTube stated that content in 2025 became simultaneously global, local, and universal. Additionally, it was noted that approximately 76% of the Gen Z audience in India turned to YouTube for updates on global events and trends.

This year, various live events significantly boosted activity on YouTube. Events such as Kumbh Meta, IPL 2025, and Asia Cup became central to conversations. Furthermore, internet-driven trends like Italian Brainrot’s character Tung Tung Tung Sahur and Labubu gained immense popularity.
