EaseMyTrip Announces Financial Results for Q3 FY25
Online travel aggregator platform EaseMyTrip has disclosed its financial results for the third quarter of FY25, which reveal a slight downturn in both scale and profitability compared to the previous year.
According to the unaudited consolidated financial statements submitted to the National Stock Exchange (NSE), EaseMyTrip’s operating revenue dropped by 6.3%, totaling Rs 150 crore in Q3 FY25, down from Rs 160 crore in Q3 FY24.
Revenue Breakdown of EaseMyTrip
Air ticketing emerged as the dominant revenue source, contributing 65% of the overall income, while hotel packages accounted for 22% of the total revenue.
Expenses of EaseMyTrip
On the expense front, EaseMyTrip reported a 2.4% rise, with total expenditures amounting to Rs 107 crore in Q3 FY25, up from Rs 105 crore in Q4 FY24. The main categories contributing to these expenses included service costs, payment gateway fees, employee benefits, and advertising costs.
Profit Decline of EaseMyTrip
The company experienced a significant profit decline of 25%, posting Rs 34 crore for Q3 FY25, compared to Rs 45.6 crore in the same quarter of the previous year. It was noted that the company spent Rs to earn a rupee in Q3 FY25.
Market Performance
In today’s trading session, EaseMyTrip’s shares closed at Rs 12, indicating a decrease of 1.96% in its share price. The total market capitalisation of the company was recorded at Rs 4,252 crore.
