FruBon, a prominent player in the dairy and ice cream sector, is operated by Dev Milk Foods. The company has successfully secured an undisclosed amount of funding from Fireside Ventures, Narotam Sekhsaria Family Office, along with a collection of angel investors. Based in Jaipur, FruBon previously garnered $10.5 million (approximately Rs 64.1 crore) in a Series A funding round that was co-led by Fireside Ventures and pi Ventures.

Funding Utilisation

According to a press announcement, the investment will facilitate the company’s efforts to expand its retail presence, enhance production capabilities, improve cold chain logistics, and support ongoing product innovation across its diverse dairy and ice cream offerings.

Company Background

Dev Milk Foods was established in 2017 by DD, Rahul, and Rohit Verma. This dairy business operates extensively throughout Rajasthan and has diversified its operations into manufacturing, marketing, and logistics. FruBon boasts an impressive range of over 200 stock keeping units (SKUs) that encompass categories like ice creams, flavoured milk, paneer, ghee, lassi, chaach, and various other dairy items.

Market Presence

The brand serves more than 75 cities and towns in North India through traditional trade channels, modern retail outlets, HORECA partnerships, and quick delivery services. An integrated supply chain supports its operations, featuring milk collection centres throughout Rajasthan and rigorous quality testing protocols across sourcing, production, and packaging processes.

Product Range

The ice cream line from FruBon includes unique flavours such as Chilli Guava, Rose Gulkand, Banarasi Paan, Alphonso Gold, Strawberry Cheesecake, Sitaphal, and Black Forest Cake. The company is committed to entering new markets, bolstering its distribution channels, and scaling up its supply chain network.
