PRISM: Leadership Changes to Enhance Global Operations

PRISM, the parent entity of OYO, has initiated a leadership realignment designed to boost its global operations and facilitate expansion into vital markets. The appointment of Ankit Tandon, the current CEO of OYO Vacation Homes, to Chief Operating Officer of PRISM and CEO for Europe marks a significant shift. In this expanded role, Tandon will be responsible for overseeing PRISM’s global business performance, which encompasses well-known brands such as Belvilla, DanCenter, and Sunday Hotels. Additionally, he will manage operations across Europe, the UK, and the US, including G6 Hospitality, the parent organisation of Motel 6 and Studio 6. Tandon will continue to guide the Vacation Homes division, which includes CheckMyGuest in France and MadeComfy in Australia.

Expanded Roles for Key Leadership

Varun Jain, previously the COO for India, has transitioned to COO for Asia, with an expanded role that includes overseeing India and the SEAME region (Southeast Asia and the Middle East). He will also supervise Traum Ferienwohnungen based in Germany. In India, the companies Innov8 and Weddingz will now report to Jain, with support from Pankhuri Sakhuja and Nitin Gupta.

Maintaining Service Excellence

Shreerang Godbole will continue his role as Chief Service Officer, focusing on customer experience and operations throughout PRISM’s various businesses. In this capacity, he will also manage operations for DanCenter and MadeComfy.

New Focus on European Markets

Shirish Damani has been appointed as COO for Europe Homes and Hotels, collaborating closely with Ankit Tandon to drive supply, revenue, and profits across key European brands while maintaining focus on global M&A initiatives.

Meanwhile, Gautam Swaroop, who has been at the helm of PRISM International and Traum Ferienwohnungen, is stepping down to explore new technology-driven ventures, though he will remain an advisor to the company.

These leadership adjustments come shortly after the rebranding of OYO’s parent company to PRISM. Operating a diverse portfolio of hospitality and living brands across 35 countries, PRISM serves over 100 million customers worldwide. According to the company’s annual report for FY25, OYO achieved a profit after tax (PAT) of over Rs 200 crore in Q1 FY26, a substantial increase from Rs 87 crore in the same quarter of the previous year.
