The Delhi Police Crime Branch has executed a significant operation, seizing large quantities of fraudulent Oppo, OnePlus, and Realme smartphones. Two individuals were arrested for their alleged roles in the production, packaging, and distribution of these counterfeit mobile devices in the capital.

Moreover, police authorities have closed down two storage warehouses located in Karol Bagh that were allegedly involved in packing and labelling these fake smartphones. Additionally, a factory in Moti Nagar has been sealed, where packaging boxes for the counterfeit devices were produced. Over eight machines have also been confiscated, which were utilized to manufacture these counterfeit smartphones.

Delhi Police Crackdown on Counterfeit Products

During a recent search and seizure operation, a substantial amount of counterfeit merchandise from the OPPO, OnePlus, and Realme brands was recovered. Two godowns in Regharpura, Karol Bagh, were sealed where these fake products were being packaged and marketed.

Details from the Operation

As reported by ANI, the Delhi Police Crime Branch discovered a printing press alongside three storage warehouses involved in a counterfeiting scheme. These facilities were employed to print fake branding and labels, package counterfeit products, and prepare them for sale in the market. This raid is part of a comprehensive initiative targeting counterfeit electronics and other illegal products. The police indicated that the investigation is still in progress.
