Veranda Learning to Acquire Greater Stake in BB Virtuals
Veranda Learning is set to increase its ownership in BB Virtuals by an additional 10.59% by June 2025. This strategic move will enhance Veranda Learning’s influence in commerce education throughout India. The commerce division is projected to achieve a pro forma EBITDA exceeding Rs 120 crore for FY25.
Founded in 2018 by the Kalpathi AGS Group, Veranda is a publicly traded digital learning platform. The platform primarily focuses on preparing students for government examinations, banking, insurance, railways, and more.
In December of last year, Veranda Learning Solutions received the necessary approvals to generate Rs 250 crore via a preferential issue.
BB Virtuals, initiated by Bhanwar Borana, is an online platform that caters to aspirants of Chartered Accountancy (CA) and other commerce-related fields. BB Virtuals has reportedly trained over 200,000 students online and has successfully produced more than 500 individuals achieving all-India ranks.
With the robust online footprint of BB Virtuals, Veranda is poised to expand its reach significantly. This collaboration will enable Veranda to provide a broader array of resources aimed at assisting students in attaining professional qualifications in the commerce field.
