Haveli Investments Acquires AppViewX to Enhance Cybersecurity Offerings
Haveli Investments, a private equity firm based in the US, has announced its acquisition of AppViewX, a company specialising in certificate lifecycle management and public key infrastructure, for a sum that remains undisclosed. This acquisition highlights Haveli’s trust in AppViewX’s leadership position in the market and its intent to utilise India’s remarkable technological talent for boosting growth and fostering innovation.
The firm believes that India will play a crucial role in the upcoming growth trajectory of AppViewX, reinforcing its determination to invest in the region’s rich technical know-how and innovative ecosystem. In line with this strategic acquisition, the cybersecurity expert Dino DiMarino has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer to guide AppViewX through its next stage of development, according to a statement from the company.
AppViewX’s Operations in India
AppViewX operates two Centres of Excellence located in Coimbatore and Bengaluru, employing a talented team of engineers and developers. The company views India as an essential hub for its global operations.
As stated by Anand Purusothaman, the Founder and Chief Technology Officer of AppViewX, the company’s journey has been remarkable, transitioning from its Indian roots to establishing itself as a global leader in machine identity security and preparing for the post-quantum landscape. He emphasised that the firm’s achievements reflect the outstanding talent and innovative spirit nurtured in its Indian centres, where dedicated minds have significantly contributed to developing cutting-edge solutions.
New Leadership Appointments at AppViewX
In addition to DiMarino’s appointment, AppViewX also revealed the installation of Jim Vasil as Chief Financial Officer and Stephen Tarleton as Chief Revenue Officer, effective immediately. The collective expertise of these leaders is anticipated to strengthen the company’s financial position and support its expansion into global markets.
