Nourish You Secures Rs 16 Crore in Series A Funding

The superfood brand Nourish You has successfully secured Rs 16 crore, approximately $1.84 million, in its Series A funding round, with significant backing from SIDBI Venture Capital.

In 2023, Nourish You had also raised $2 million during its seed funding round, thanks to contributions from numerous individual investors, including notable figures such as Y Janardhana Rao, Rohit Chennamaneni, and Nikhil Kamath. Moreover, this year marked the company’s acquisition of the vegan dairy brand One Good, although the financial details of this deal remain undisclosed.

About Nourish You

Nourish You was co-founded in 2015 by Sowmya Reddy, Krishna Reddy, and Rakesh Kilaru. The brand specializes in providing various superfoods, such as quinoa and chia seeds, to consumers across India. Their operations encompass the management of 5,000 acres of quinoa and chia farms located in Rajasthan, Karnataka, and Madhya Pradesh.

Product Offerings and Export

The company’s diverse product range includes quinoa, chia, a variety of millets, edible seeds like flax, pumpkin, sunflower, and watermelon, alongside breakfast cereals such as muesli. Nourish You exports these products to several international markets, including Singapore, Nepal, Kenya, Dubai, Mongolia, and the Maldives.

Nourish You’s products can be purchased from its official website as well as popular e-commerce platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, and BigBasket, among others. In the competitive landscape, Nourish You faces rivals like True Elements, Slurrp Farms, and Jiwa, among several others.
