Motorola Edge 60 Fusion Launch Details in India
The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion is set to be launched shortly in India. Reports indicate that the device specifications have been revealed online, including the anticipated release date by well-known tipster Abhishek Yadav on X (formerly Twitter). This model will act as a successor to the Edge 50 Fusion, which debuted in May 2024, suggesting an upgrade is forthcoming from Motorola.
Expected Release Date and Features
According to leaks, the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion is expected to be launched in India on 2 April 2025, with sales commencing on April 9. If these details are accurate, the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion will showcase a Dimensity 7400 chipset, a recent release from MediaTek.
Display and Performance
The leaked information indicates that the Edge 60 Fusion will include a 6.7″ quad curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Although this display size is slightly larger than the 6.67″ panel on the Edge 50 Fusion, it is important to note that last year’s model featured a higher 144Hz refresh rate, which could mean a reduction in that aspect for the new device.
Camera Specifications
In terms of photography capabilities, the Edge 60 Fusion is anticipated to come equipped with a 50MP Sony LYT700 plus a 13MP rear camera. It is also projected to retain the same 32MP front camera found on the previous model. Moreover, there are reports suggesting that the phone will boast a 5500mAh battery, representing a 10% increase from the 5000mAh capacity of its predecessor. Additionally, the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion is expected to feature an IP69 rating and military-grade durability with a MIL-STD-810 certification.
Recently, Motorola hinted at a new phone launch on Flipkart, which was accompanied by a teaser video. This video carried the tagline “Experience the Edge, Live the Fusion,” alluding to the upcoming introduction of the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion.
Although there has been no official confirmation from Motorola regarding the launch date or specifications, these leaks provide significant insight into what can be expected. Regarding its pricing, various reports suggest that the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion could be priced around €350 (approximately ₹32,920), marking a considerable increase from its predecessor, which was launched at ₹22,999 for the base variant.
