Aerospace startup Nabhdrishti Aerospace has successfully obtained $3 million (approximately Rs 25 crore) in a recent funding round led by Accel, with additional contributions from IIMA Ventures and its current investors. The funding will be allocated towards the enhancement and testing of their engine prototypes, along with the recruitment of talented professionals, according to a press release from Nabhdrishti Aerospace.

Innovative Solutions in Urban Air Mobility

Founded in 2023 by Chouhan, Arjun Srivatsa, and Antanu Sadhu, Nabhdrishti Aerospace is focused on developing compact gas turbines intended for hybrid urban air mobility, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and decentralized power generation systems. The firm asserts that its engine provides a dual functionality — serving both propulsion and energy needs. This technology is aimed at various sectors including hospitals, heavy vehicles, manufacturing, as well as light aircraft, helicopters, and hybrid electric aviation.

Based in Bengaluru, Nabhdrishti Aerospace is working on advanced technologies that are compatible with sustainable fuels, such as green hydrogen, to power a range of applications from UAVs to the future of air mobility platforms.
