Samsung Introduces 2025 Odyssey Gaming Monitors in India

Samsung has unveiled its Odyssey gaming monitors for 2025 in India, featuring an innovative glasses-free 3D gaming monitor that enhances the gaming experience.

The newly launched lineup contains the Odyssey 3D, Odyssey OLED G8, and Odyssey G9, specifically designed for gamers, content creators, and professionals seeking high-end visual output.

Odyssey 3D: Immersive Glasses-Free 3D Gaming

The Odyssey 3D includes a 27″ IPS panel that utilises state-of-the-art eye-tracking technology and view mapping algorithms, allowing for the creation of captivating 3D visuals without any additional equipment.

With a refresh rate of 165Hz and a lightning-fast 1ms response time, this monitor ensures a seamless gaming experience, supported by AMD FreeSync technology. Furthermore, it incorporates AI-driven video conversion capabilities that enhance regular content into 3D format, broadening its applicability beyond gaming.

Features such as built-in speakers providing spatial audio and edge lighting enhance the overall engagement of users. Samsung is collaborating with major developers, including Nexon, to fine-tune forthcoming games for this advanced display.

Odyssey OLED G8

The G8 model is offered in both 27″ and 32″ sizes and holds the title of the world’s first 4K OLED gaming monitor that achieves a 240Hz refresh rate. Its remarkably low response time of 0.03ms makes it a prime selection for dedicated gamers. It holds VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification, which ensures an exceptional contrast ratio for deeper blacks and enhanced colour fidelity.

This display features a glare-resistant coating that reportedly diminishes screen reflections by 56%, according to Samsung’s claims. To combat OLED burn-in, Samsung has implemented its unique OLED Safeguard+ system, which includes an advanced Dynamic Cooling System with Pulsating Heat Pipe technology, marking its debut in monitor design. The monitor is elegantly encased in a sleek metal frame.

Odyssey G9: Expansive 49″ Curved Display

The G9 boasts a dual QHD (5120 x 1440) curved display designed with a 1000R curvature, providing an expansive field of view. It supports a 144Hz refresh rate alongside a swift 1ms response time, also featuring AMD FreeSync Premium.

The monitor is equipped with sophisticated multitasking options such as Picture-by-Picture and Picture-in-Picture, allowing users to simultaneously access content from various sources. The Auto Source Switch+ function automatically identifies and showcases input from attached devices.

The Odyssey 3D is priced at ₹1,27,299.

The Odyssey OLED G8 is available at ₹91,299 for the 27″ model and ₹1,18,999 for the 32″ variant.

The Odyssey G9 curved monitor is priced at ₹94,099.
