Currently available in Bengaluru, Pyng signifies Swiggy’s entry into the professional services arena—a sector experiencing increasing demand from urban consumers seeking dependable, non-spammy connections to skilled professionals. The platform caters to various needs, ranging from yoga instructors and tax consultants to wedding planners and tarot readers, focusing on enhancing the discovery and engagement experience through artificial intelligence.

Nandan Reddy, Co-founder and Head of Innovation at Swiggy, expressed that with the growing pace of modern life, the need for professional help—be it tax planners, counsellors, or yoga trainers—is on the rise across personal and professional domains. The introduction of Pyng offers a reliable, spam-free platform for users to engage with trusted experts. He noted that by defining the demand for specialised services, Pyng not only empowers individual providers but also helps consumers address their hidden needs by connecting them with reliable, value-adding experts.

Features of the Pyng App

At the core of the app is Smart AI Assistance, which includes two primary functionalities:

• AI Search Assistant: This feature assists users in locating the most suitable professionals based on detailed queries.
• Professionals’ Personal AI Assistant: This tool enables users to engage with expert profiles, comprehend available services, and receive tailored recommendations—without the necessity of making a booking.

Additionally, users enjoy a money-back guarantee if the service does not fulfil their expectations.

Swiggy initiated the process of onboarding professionals earlier this year via a seller-focused version of the app, and it now proudly boasts over 1,000 verified experts. The available categories are:
