Swiggy, renowned for transforming food and grocery delivery in India, is entering a new domain with the introduction of Pyng, a sophisticated AI-driven application that connects users with certified professionals across more than 100 service categories.
Live in Bengaluru, Pyng represents Swiggy’s entry into the professional services industry—a sector experiencing growing demand from urban consumers in search of reliable, spam-free connections to skilled experts. The platform encompasses a variety of services, including yoga instructors, tax consultants, wedding planners, and tarot readers, aiming to enhance the discovery and engagement process through artificial intelligence.
Discussing Swiggy’s new initiative, Nandan Reddy, Co-founder and Head of Innovation, remarked that as lifestyles become increasingly hectic, there is a rising need for professional support across personal and professional realms, ranging from tax planners to yoga instructors. He noted that Pyng is intended to provide a trustworthy and spam-free environment for users to connect with verified experts. By addressing the demand for these specialised services, Pyng not only supports individual providers but also elucidates consumers’ underlying needs, linking them with dependable professionals who offer genuine value.
The core of the application features Smart AI Assistance, which includes two essential tools:
• AI Search Assistant: This feature aids users in locating the most suitable professionals based on specific queries.
• Professionals’ Personal AI Assistant: This tool allows users to engage with expert profiles, comprehend services, and receive tailored recommendations without the immediate need to book.
Additionally, users are supported by a money-back guarantee if the service falls short of their expectations.
Earlier this year, Swiggy began onboarding professionals through a seller-focused version of the app, now boasting over 1,000 verified experts. The available categories include:

Through this launch, Swiggy broadens its already extensive ecosystem, which includes food delivery, grocery services via Instamart, and offerings like Swiggy Genie and Dineout—all integrated under the Swiggy One membership.
