Acer Super ZX Series Smartphones Debut in India
Acer has introduced two new smartphones in India under the “Super ZX” series, namely the Acer Super ZX and Acer Super ZX Pro.
Acer Super ZX: Specifications Tailored for the Value Segment
The Acer Super ZX is designed as a budget-friendly option in the sub-₹15,000 category. It boasts a 6.78″ FHD+ display with an impressive 120Hz refresh rate. This model is powered by the MediaTek 6300 chipset and features a triple-camera arrangement at the back, led by a 64MP Sony LYTIA sensor.
Supporting 33W fast charging, the Super ZX comes in various configurations, beginning with 4GB RAM + 128GB storage, up to 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. It is available in three stylish colours: Black, Blue, and Green.
Acer Super ZX Pro: Enhanced Features at a Mid-Range Price
The Acer Super ZX Pro is marketed as a “flagship killer” in the mid-range smartphone arena, aiming at devices typically costing over ₹25,000. It features a 6.67″ AMOLED display, complemented by an IP64-rated frosted glass back and a stylish metal frame. The device operates on the powerful MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset.
Its camera capabilities include a 50MP main rear camera equipped with OIS and the Sony IMX 882 sensor, alongside a 5MP ultra-wide camera, and a bokeh sensor. The front camera is also a robust 50MP unit, offering AI-driven features and support for full HD video recording.
The Pro model houses a substantial 5000mAh battery and comes with Dolby Atmos audio support. The RAM options begin at 8GB (with virtual RAM) and extend to 12GB + 12GB, while storage configurations range from 128GB up to 512GB. Available colours include Black, Purple, and Light Blue.
Indkal Technologies, operating under the Acer brand in India, has brought these smartphones to the market. Anand Dubey, CEO of Indkal Technologies, expressed that both models will excel in camera technology and sensor performance, claiming they will be the quickest in their respective price brackets. He also highlighted that the products have been crafted and tested specifically for the Indian market to ensure optimal usability and efficiency.
Dubey further mentioned that Indkal aims to broaden its product range in the future.
