Rimigo Secures Funding to Enhance Travel Experience

Travel-tech company Rimigo has successfully raised $550,000 in a pre-seed funding round, co-led by Reazon Capital from Japan and SGgrow Capital. Alongside these investors, Indian angel investors including S Ramadorai, Ravi Nigam, Shashank Deshpande, and Ujjwal Jain also participated in the funding round.

The funds will be directed towards advancing product development, recruiting skilled professionals, and expanding its talented team focused on travel and technology, Rimigo mentioned in an official statement.

Established in 2014 by Sahil Sharma, Shubham Chintalwar, and Aditya Shirole, Rimigo is on a mission to make international travel easier through integrated collaborative tools, AI-driven personalization, and curated travel insights. The platform provides a comprehensive AI-based vacation planning service, where users need only to input their desired destination and travel preferences, and the system generates detailed itineraries, flight options, as well as suggestions for accommodations, dining, and activities.

As stated by the Bengaluru-headquartered company, Rimigo adeptly addresses pivotal challenges faced by travellers, including cumbersome processes, overwhelming information, insufficient personalization, and a lack of local knowledge.

Rimigo aims to merge collaborative tools with AI-based guidance and curated booking selections, striving to make global travel more accessible and enjoyable. With the advancements in AI, the company plans to develop a distinct opportunity for a personalized vacation planning experience.

Rimigo asserts that it has successfully organized over 120 vacations during its beta phase, with around 50 of these trips already completed, and numerous users are either planning their next vacations or recommending the service to friends. The remaining 70 trips are currently in the planning phase.
