Vivo V50 Elite Launch – Upcoming Smartphone from Vivo
Vivo V50 Elite is set to make its debut on 15 May at 12 noon. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer has decided not to release a Pro version this year, making the introduction of the ‘Elite’ variant particularly significant for the Indian market.
Social media teasers have confirmed the Vivo V50 Elite’s name and that it will feature ZEISS optics. The V50 Elite will join the existing V50 and V50e models in the V50 series.
Vivo V50 Elite Camera Features
According to initial teasers, the Vivo V50 Elite will boast a circular camera setup, expected to house a 50MP main camera along with a likely 50MP telephoto camera. However, official specifications from Vivo are still pending.
Expected Specifications of Vivo V50 Elite Edition
Recent insights from 91Mobiles suggest that the Vivo V50 Elite may closely resemble the V50 model. It is anticipated to include a 6.77-inch FHD+ quad-curved AMOLED display, a refresh rate of 120Hz, and peak brightness reaching 4500 nits.
Additionally, 91Mobiles reports that the main distinction between the V50 and the V50 Elite Edition will be its premium design, offering a more luxurious feel.
Powering the device could be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, mirroring that of the V50, and it will likely run on Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15.
Users can also look forward to a robust 6000mAh battery, featuring support for 90W fast charging, in the Vivo V50 Elite.
With the launch just around the corner on 15 May, further updates are expected soon.
