MSI’s latest showcase at Computex 2025 highlighted a diverse array of laptops, handheld gaming devices, and concept designs, reaffirming the brand’s commitment to high-performance computing and artistic design through strategic partnerships.
Introduction of the Claw Handheld Gaming Series
The focal point of the event was the expansion of the Claw handheld gaming series. The unveiling of the new Claw A8, equipped with an AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme processor, drew considerable attention. Additionally, the refreshed Claw 8 AI+ Polar Tempest Edition, featuring Intel’s Core Ultra 7 258V processor and a striking glitter-coated white finish, was also introduced. Both models present an 8-inch FHD+ 120Hz touchscreen along with enhanced connectivity and personalization features.
Integration of NVIDIA’s RTX 50 Series GPUs
MSI announced its integration of NVIDIA’s forthcoming RTX 50 series GPUs into its premier laptops, including updated Crosshair and Cyborg models. Following a successful partnership from the previous year, two new laptops co-branded with Mercedes-AMG Motorsport were showcased: the Stealth A16 AI+ and the Prestige 16 AI+. The Stealth A16 AI+ features a combination of AMD and NVIDIA components, while the Prestige 16 AI+ boasts Intel’s latest Core Ultra 9 processor and a stunning 4K OLED display. Co-branded accessories, such as a laptop sleeve and mouse, accompany both models.
The Artistry of Prestige 13 AI+ Ukiyo-e Edition
The Prestige 13 AI+ Ukiyo-e Edition demonstrated MSI’s dedication to design excellence, developed in collaboration with renowned Japanese lacquerware brand Okadaya. This limited-edition laptop showcases Katsushika Hokusai’s iconic woodblock print “The Great Wave off Kanagawa,” merging traditional Yamanaka lacquer techniques with cutting-edge OLED and AI technologies. MSI confirmed plans to unveil a new Artisan Collection, further reflecting the brand’s synergy of art and technology.
Upcoming Ultra-Thin Laptop Designs for Business
In the business and productivity domain, MSI presented a preview of its future ultra-thin laptop designs expected to support the next-generation Intel processors, codenamed Panther Lake. These innovative devices will come in both convertible and traditional formats, featuring OLED displays, stylus compatibility, and a sleek design.
