Info Edge Reports Impressive Revenue Growth in FY25
Info Edge, the parent company of Naukri and 99acres, has demonstrated substantial growth, reporting a 14.2% increase in operating revenue during the fourth quarter of the last fiscal year (FY25). This spike in revenue is accompanied by an impressive 7.7X rise in profit, largely due to cost reductions.
The Noida-based firm saw its operating revenue reach Rs 750 crore in Q4 FY25, up from Rs 657 crore in the same quarter of FY24, according to documents from the National Stock Exchange (NSE).
Fiscal Year Revenue Highlights
Under the guidance of Sanjeev Bikhchandani, Info Edge achieved a total revenue of Rs 2,849 crore in FY25, marking a 12% increase from Rs 2,536 crore in FY24.
The primary source of revenue for Info Edge continues to be Naukri.com, which contributed Rs 542 crore in the quarter ending March 2025, reflecting a 13% year-on-year growth compared to Q4 FY24. Revenue from 99acres amounted to Rs 106 crore, while the Jeevansathi and Shiksha segments together generated Rs 102 crore during the same quarter.
Additively, the firm accrued an additional Rs 520 crore from interest on deposits and investments, bringing its total revenue for Q4 FY25 to Rs 1,270 crore. On a fiscal basis, the cumulative income reached Rs 3,922 crore in FY25.
Expenditure Overview
On the expenditure side, Info Edge allocated 61% of its overall costs to employee benefits, which saw a modest 13% increase year-on-year, totalling Rs 331 crore in Q4 FY25. Advertising and internet expenses were recorded at Rs 100 crore and Rs 21 crore, respectively. Overall, total costs increased by 15% year-on-year, rising from Rs 469 crore in Q4 FY24 to Rs 539 crore in Q4 FY25. For FY25, total costs climbed 9% to reach Rs 2,002 crore.
Profit Increase Driven by Growth and Controlled Costs
The combination of steady revenue growth alongside increased income and controlled spending propelled profits to soar 7.7X, amounting to Rs 678 crore in Q4 FY25, compared to Rs 88 crore in Q4 FY24. On a fiscal level, the firm’s profit doubled, reaching Rs 1,310 crore in FY25 from Rs 594 crore in FY24.
