Fabheads Secures $10 Million in Series A Funding
Fabheads, a pioneering composite tech startup, has successfully raised $10 million in its Series A funding round, which was led by Accel and included participation from Trifecta Capital. This funding brings the total capital raised by the Chennai-based company to $13 million, comprising $3 million from earlier seed and pre-seed rounds that were completed in 2021.
The newly acquired funds will be allocated to scaling manufacturing operations, enhancing leadership capabilities, and expanding the engineering and R&D teams. Furthermore, Fabheads plans to establish a new facility in Bengaluru, specifically aimed at catering to the aerospace sector while addressing the growing global demand for composite technologies. This facility is anticipated to be operational within six months.
