Infinix GT 30 5G+: The Ultimate Smartphone for Mobile Gamers

Infinix has introduced its latest mid-premium smartphone, the GT 30 5G+, in India, specifically catering to mobile gamers with a blend of advanced performance features, AI capabilities, and custom design aesthetics. The device is priced starting at ₹19,499 and will be available from 14 August on Flipkart, with launch promotions lowering the effective starting price to ₹17,999.

Infinix GT 30 5G+ Specifications

The GT 30 5G+ showcases segment-first GT Shoulder Gaming Triggers that offer console-like controls, along with Krafton-certified 90FPS gameplay in BGMI. The device features a striking Cyber Mecha 2.0 design, which includes programmable white LED lighting that responds to notifications, charging, and music playback.

At its core, the device runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset, complemented by up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM (including virtual RAM). The thermal management system is equipped with a six-layer 3D vapor chamber, which Infinix claims provides a 20% improvement in heat dissipation compared to the previous generation.

The smartphone has a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display boasting a 144Hz refresh rate, a 2160Hz touch sampling rate, and peak brightness reaching 4500 nits. Corning Gorilla Glass 7i enhances durability, and the device holds an IP64 rating, ensuring resistance to dust and splashes.

The GT 30 5G+ is equipped with a 64MP Sony main sensor, accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and features AI-driven editing tools such as AI Extender, AI Eraser, and AI Cutout. Both the rear and 13MP front cameras offer 4K video recording capabilities, with the front camera also incorporating screen flash for taking selfies in low-light conditions.

Battery and Charging

The phone comes with a robust 5500mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging. Features like bypass charging are included to minimize heat during gaming sessions, as well as reverse charging to allow users to power other devices.

Operating System and Updates

Running XOS 15 based on Android 15, the GT 30 5G+ is integrated with AI functionalities like AI Note, Writing Assistant, and the Folax voice assistant. Infinix assures users of two major Android OS updates along with three years of security patches.
