Graas AI Secures $9 Million in Funding for Ecommerce Tech Innovation
Ecommerce-tech startup Graas AI has successfully raised $9 million in a funding round spearheaded by Tin Men Capital, alongside contributions from several other investors including Incred Wealth, Orzon, Integra Partners, and Yuj Ventures.
The funding will be allocated to expand Agent Foundry, Graas AI’s innovative platform dedicated to developing autonomous agents, as indicated in a press release from the company.
About Graas AI
Co-founded in 2022 by Prem Bhatia and Ashwin Puri, Graas AI operates from Singapore and offers a suite of agents, such as “Chattr,” a customer support tool leveraging natural language processing, and “Extract,” a solution designed for data engineers to seamlessly deliver cleaned data into databases or Google Sheets. The multi-agent framework within the platform facilitates autonomous performance analysis and decision-making for Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) brands and marketplace entities.
Operational Solutions for Brands
According to Graas AI, these agents are crafted to address key operational challenges including customer acquisition costs, pricing strategies, margin management, and inventory optimisation specifically for commerce brands situated in India and Southeast Asia.
Expert Insights on the Future
Prem Bhatia, CEO and co-founder of Graas AI, emphasised the need for functional agents rather than mere AI companions or aesthetically pleasing dashboards. He noted the importance of having agents that actively execute operational strategies, stating that they have dedicated two years to building a robust data framework, and now through Agent Foundry, they are equipping brands to take actionable steps based on that data.
Brand Impact and Reach
Graas AI claims to support over 2,000 brands, having processed more than $1 billion in gross merchandise value (GMV) and is operational across seven countries in the region.
