HP OMEN 16: AI-Powered Gaming Laptop Now in India

HP has launched the OMEN 16, an advanced AI-powered gaming laptop tailored for gamers who demand exceptional performance and personalisation. This device can be equipped with the newest Intel Core Ultra or AMD Ryzen AI processors, and boasts an impressive NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Laptop GPU, which offers 12GB of memory.

Power and Performance of the OMEN 16

The OMEN 16 has been engineered to enhance gaming performance through innovative features like OMEN AI and Unleashed Mode, which automatically adjust power and thermal settings in real-time. It accommodates a total processor power of up to 170W and a GPU power of 115W, while its newly designed cooling system features fan cleaning technology that effectively eliminates dust, ensuring optimal efficiency. While delivering high performance, the laptop operates at a low noise level of 46 dBA, making it ideal for prolonged gaming sessions.

Vineet Gehani, Senior Director (Personal Systems) at HP India, pointed out that the device has been created to address the changing demands of gamers. The laptop is equipped with a 16-inch QHD display that offers a 240Hz refresh rate, a rapid 3ms response time, 500 nits of brightness, and 100% sRGB coverage. It is also certified by Eyesafe, which minimises blue light exposure. Other notable features include a full HD webcam with noise cancellation, HP Fast Charge capability, which reaches 50% charge in approximately 30 minutes, and seamless Windows 11 integration.

Customisation and Sustainability

Users can take advantage of the OMEN Gaming Hub to modify power modes, cooling configurations, and RGB lighting, including per-key customisation options and an additional light bar.

HP has also prioritised sustainability in the design of the OMEN 16. The laptop incorporates ocean-bound plastics in its speaker enclosure and bezel, along with recycled plastics in its keyboard components.
