About Cumin Co and Its Mission
Founded in February 2025 by Niharika Joshi and Udit Lekhi, Cumin Co strives to merge aesthetic design with practical functionality. The brand aims to eliminate harmful chemicals commonly found in traditional non-stick or metal cookware. Their products are priced between Rs 1,999 and Rs 7,000, aimed at households earning an annual income of Rs 30–35 lakh and above.
Focus on Toxin-Free Cookware
The Gurugram-based startup is dedicated to producing 100% toxin-free enamel cast iron cookware. This includes various pots and pans that combine the longevity of traditional materials with contemporary safety standards. Cumin Co primarily markets its products via its official website and Amazon, employing a direct-to-consumer model to maintain control over pricing and enhance the customer experience.
Sustainability Initiatives
Cumin Co is committed to sustainability within its supply chain, utilising plastic-free packaging and responsibly sourced materials in its products. The brand boasts a remarkable achievement of reaching Rs 1 crore in monthly recurring revenue (MRR) and is experiencing a 20% month-on-month (MoM) growth rate, alongside impressive repeat purchase levels.
Future Growth Plans
The company plans to expand into fast commerce platforms, including Blinkit, Zepto, and Instamart, targeting specific product categories to further enhance accessibility for customers.
