Dyson has introduced its newest range of problem-solving technologies during a global event at IFA Berlin, revealing an array of vacuum cleaners, air purifiers, fans, robotic systems, and haircare products.
The event featured founder James Dyson, who showcased 11 new innovations. Some products are immediately available, while others will launch in the forthcoming months, with timings for India yet to be revealed.
A standout was the Dyson PencilVac, claimed to be the world’s slimmest vacuum cleaner with a diameter of just 38mm. It utilises the new Hyperdymium 140k motor, features a linear dust separation system, dual laser-like cleaning lights, and offers app connectivity. Its sleek design allows for cleaning in various directions, even under low furniture, complemented by a hygienic bin-emptying feature.
Dyson also presented an enhanced version of the Dyson V8 Cyclone cordless vacuum, boasting 30% increased suction power, 50% extended runtime, and a new triggerless power button. A self-emptying dock is anticipated to launch in 2026.
Another notable unveiling was the Dyson V16 Piston Animal vacuum, touted as a high-performance device driven by Dyson’s most power-efficient motor. It comes equipped with a CleanCompaktor bin that can accommodate up to 30 days’ worth of dust, anti-tangle technology, and a wet roller head for efficient hard floor cleaning.
The Dyson Clean+Wash Hygiene was also introduced, a product designed to tackle hygiene issues in wet and dry cleaners by removing conventional filters that can get clogged and foster bacteria. It presents a denser microfibre roller with nylon bristles, designed to be lightweight.
In the robotics segment, Dyson revealed the Dyson Spot+Scrub Ai robot, which merges vacuuming with wet cleaning functionalities. This system employs AI for stain detection, adaptive navigation, and a self-cleaning wet roller. It is capable of recognising nearly 200 household items to navigate around obstacles and repeatedly address stains until they are removed.
Enhancing its air treatment product line, Dyson launched the HushJet Purifier Compact, a small purifier that offers high-volume airflow with reduced noise levels. The company claims it delivers 80% of the purification efficiency of its larger units while maintaining a quiet operation at 24 dB in sleep mode.
Other notable updates include the reintroduction of Dyson’s bladeless fan in the Dyson Cool CF1, an upgraded Dyson Hot+Cool HF1 Remote Link Pre-Heat fan heater, along with innovative haircare products such as the Dyson Supersonic r hair dryer and the Dyson Airwrap Co-anda 2x multi-styler.
Additionally, Dyson introduced the Dyson Omega Nourishing Range, a haircare collection enriched with seven omega-rich oils, including sunflower oil sourced from Dyson’s own farms in Lincolnshire, UK. This range features a hydrating hair oil and a leave-in conditioning spray formulated for enduring nourishment.
Dyson affirmed that these latest launches reflect its commitment to re-engineering products through innovative design and technology, focusing on performance, compact formats, and hygiene.
