GIGABYTE’s New AI Hardware Innovations

GIGABYTE Technology has unveiled cutting-edge AI-driven hardware solutions, featuring the new X870E AORUS X3D motherboards and the extension of its AI vision under the concept “BEYOND EDGE”. These announcements highlight the company’s ongoing commitment to embed artificial intelligence throughout its product ecosystem, encompassing gaming, professional computing, and extensive AI deployment.

X870E AORUS X3D Motherboards

The X870E AORUS X3D motherboards are crafted for use with AMD’s Ryzen 9000, 8000, and 7000 Series processors. A standout feature is the AI-enhanced X3D Turbo Mode 2.0, which utilises real-time analytics to enhance gaming performance by as much as 25%. The motherboards support DDR5 memory speeds reaching up to 9000 MT/s, thanks to the company’s D5 Bionic Corsa technology, and come equipped with advanced thermal management systems and reimagined installation features tailored for both enthusiasts and professionals. Connectivity advancements include options for 10GbE and 5GbE LAN, Wi-Fi 7, dual USB4 Type-C ports, and HDMI output.

Expanding AI Roadmap

During the GIGABYTE EVENT, the company elaborated on its extensive AI roadmap. The BEYOND EDGE initiative evolves from the prior “LEADING EDGE” showcase, diverging into three key areas: Beyond Boundaries, Beyond the Device, and Beyond Performance.

AI Development Hardware

Within the AI development segment, the AI TOP Ecosystem integrates scalable platforms and utilities capable of managing models with up to 685 billion parameters. Offerings such as the AI TOP ATOM, powered by NVIDIA’s Grace Blackwell Superchip, along with the AORUS AI BOX series of external GPUs, cater to developers and content creators in need of portable or high-performance AI acceleration.

New AI Gaming Laptops

For consumer systems, GIGABYTE launched a lineup of new AI gaming laptops that feature RTX AI, integrated Copilot+ PC capabilities, and the in-house AI assistant known as “GiMATE”. The collection spans from the premium AORUS MASTER Series to more compact models like the AERO X16.

AORUS PRIME 5 Desktop PC

On the desktop side, the AORUS PRIME 5 PC pairs AMD Ryzen 9000 X3D processors with NVIDIA RTX 5080 graphics, supported by an advanced cooling solution. GIGABYTE also offered a glimpse of upcoming motherboards, including the flagship X870E AORUS XTREME AI TOP X3D and the unique wood-themed X870E AERO X3D WOOD.
