Recove, a B2B startup focused on digitising and modernising the plastics recycling supply chain, has successfully secured Rs 5.3 crore in its pre-seed funding round, which was led by Momentum Capital. This funding round also included notable contributions from industry experts and angel investors such as Ganesh Natarajan, the former CEO of Aptech and Zensar, Ashish Goel, a co-founder of Urban Ladder, as well as Chaitanya Kejriwal and Shruti Deorah.
Purpose of the Funding
The funds raised will be allocated towards scaling Recove’s marketplace across India, establishing pre-processing hubs, and enhancing its network of recycling partners.
Founders and Mission
Founded in 2024 by Viral Chhajer, Nirja Bhatt, and Sharan Subaiah, Recove is creating a tech-driven B2B marketplace dedicated to plastic recyclables. The platform aims to connect suppliers of plastic waste with recyclers, supported by technology-enhanced supply chains and in-house pre-processing facilities to maintain quality and ensure consistency.
