Unmannd Secures Funding for Autonomous Drone Systems
Unmannd, a pioneering defence technology startup focused on advanced autonomous drone systems, has successfully raised £2 million in a pre-seed funding round. This round was led by Speciale Invest and Accel. The funding will allow Unmannd to commercialise their aerial logistics platform, Titan, enhance their interceptor system, Fury, from proof-of-concept to ready for market, expand their engineering team, and investigate opportunities for exports to global markets.
About Unmannd
Established in February 2025 by Yeshwanth Reddy and Hemaditya Prasad, Unmannd is dedicated to developing innovative solutions for the future of defence logistics and aerial security. Their initial offering, Titan, is a robust drone specifically designed to transport and deliver essential supplies. Titan has successfully met the qualification standards set by the Indian defence forces, which positions Unmannd well for securing future contracts.
Introducing Titan and Fury
The first product, Titan, is engineered to handle heavy loads and is tailored for urgent supply deliveries. Following its qualification, Titan is set to play a significant role in defence logistics.
Additionally, Unmannd is developing its second product, Fury. This interceptor system is equipped to detect hostile drones from a distance of up to 30 kilometres and utilises high-speed interceptors that can reach speeds of 300 km per hour to neutralise any aerial threats.
Further Developments in the Industry
Earlier this year, Raphe mPhibr raised a substantial £100 million in a funding round led by General Catalyst, highlighting the growing interest and investment in defence technology and innovative aerial systems.
