Continue Research: Deepinder Goyal’s Initiative for Longevity
Continue Research, founded by dedicated leader Deepinder Goyal, has received a commitment of $25 million from his personal finances to enhance this venture focused on longevity. The initiative aims to investigate methods that can extend human life and boost overall health by delving into areas such as ageing, nutrition, sleep, and mental wellness.
The Vision Behind Continue Research
Initiated approximately two years ago, Continue Research is not your typical startup; rather, it serves as a research-oriented effort and an early-stage funding source. Goyal has stated that this fund will financially support scientists and entrepreneurs dedicated to exploring essential biological queries and health surveillance technologies.
A Self-Funded Endeavour
In a recent update shared on X, Goyal expressed that the initiative is entirely self-funded and designed to aid researchers globally. He portrayed the project as a long-term objective to gain a deeper understanding of human biology and to encourage what he refers to as the “conscious evolution” of humanity.
The Mission of Continue Research
Goyal further elaborated that the primary aim is to significantly enhance human longevity and the quality of life through ongoing scientific inquiry. Continue Research plans to offer seed funding to emerging teams engaged in fields such as ageing, health optimisation, and preventive wellness.
Investment Focus Areas
The initiative intends to channel investments into projects that seek to slow down or reverse certain components of biological ageing, supporting the goal of enabling individuals to maintain healthier lives for an extended period.
Independence from Zomato
While Goyal continues his leadership role at Zomato, Continue Research operates autonomously and is not associated with the parent company, Eternal. This venture marks Goyal’s entry into the longevity and life sciences arena, showcasing his increasing fascination with profound scientific understanding and the long-term outlook on human health.
