Wealthy Investment Advisory Achieves 72% Growth in FY25
Wealthy, an investment advisory and wealth management platform, has reported a remarkable 72% increase in scale for the fiscal year ending March 2025. This growth follows a two-fold expansion in the previous fiscal year (FY24), highlighting the firm’s unwavering growth trajectory. Wealthy’s operational revenue rose to Rs 25 crore in FY25, up from Rs 14.5 crore in FY24, based on financial records gathered from the Registrar of Companies (RoC).
Revenue Breakdown for Wealthy
Wealthy offers a suite of investment management and tracking tools tailored for retail investors, alongside comprehensive advisory services. The largest contributor to its revenue was brokerage services, which constituted 56% of the total income, more than doubling to Rs 14 crore in FY25 from Rs 6.3 crore in FY24. Additionally, revenue from advisory services climbed to Rs 9 crore, reflecting a 24% increase year-on-year, while commission income surged by 110% to reach Rs 2 crore during the same period. Non-operating income was recorded at Rs 10 crore, raising total income to Rs 35 crore in FY25.
Expenditure Insights
The firm’s largest expense category was employee benefits, which accounted for over 53% of total expenditures. This cost grew by 23%, amounting to Rs 37 crore in FY25, up from Rs 30 crore in FY24. Legal and professional fees also saw significant increases, more than doubling to Rs 9 crore, while commission costs rose by 69% to Rs 7.6 crore. Advertising expenses witnessed a notable increase of 92%, reaching Rs 2.5 crore in the last fiscal year. Overall, Wealthy’s total expenditure increased by 41% year-on-year to Rs 70 crore in FY25, compared to Rs 49.5 crore the previous year. Financial Outcomes for Wealthy
Despite its significant revenue growth, the AWI-supported company reported a net loss of Rs 35 crore in the last fiscal year, a 46% increase from Rs 24 crore in FY24. Its return on capital employed (ROCE) and earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) margins were recorded at -155.17% and -152%, respectively. On a unit basis, the firm expended Rs 2.8 to generate one rupee of operational revenue in FY25, compared to Rs 3.41 in FY24.
Current Assets and Funding Achievements
As of March 2025, this Bengaluru-based firm reported current assets valued at Rs 17.5 crore, which includes Rs 7 crore in cash and bank balances. According to startup data intelligence platforms, Wealthy has successfully raised a total of Rs 117.27 crore, with Rs 45 crore accumulated during a Series B funding round led by Falcon Edge’s Alpha Wave Incubation Fund, the largest stakeholder with nearly 23% ownership since the Series A. Co-founders Aditya Agarwal and Prashant Gupta collectively hold a 34.5% stake in the company.
