Sharon Pais Appointed as Business Unit Head for Flipkart Fashion

Sharon Pais, the chief business officer at Myntra, has transitioned to the position of business unit head for Flipkart Fashion. This news was first reported by The Economic Times. Pais will take the place of Kunal Gupta, who is now in charge of Minutes, the quick commerce segment of Flipkart, following Kabeer Biswas’s departure.

Before her role as CBO at Myntra, which she assumed in 2021, Pais dedicated nearly eight years to Flipkart in various capacities. She began her journey at Flipkart in January 2014 as the sales and revenue lead for books, later advancing to category marketing for books, general merchandise, and home products. Pais moved to Myntra in October 2021 while overseeing Flipkart’s loyalty and travel division.

This change comes alongside numerous internal shifts within both Flipkart and Myntra. Myntra, which is owned by Flipkart, successfully surpassed the Rs 6,000 crore revenue threshold in FY25. Strategic spending and consistent growth across different revenue channels enabled Myntra to increase its profits significantly, nearly 18 times, reaching Rs 548.3 crore in FY25 compared to Rs 31 crore in FY24, signifying a notable recovery from a loss of Rs 782 crore in FY23.
