This funding saw participation from DeVC, PeerCheque, Force Ventures, and notable angel investors such as Nishchay Ag, co-founder of Jar. The funds will be directed towards expanding its network of advocate partners, enhancing AI infrastructure, strengthening government collaborations, and scaling operations into additional states, as stated in a press release from Nyayanidhi.
Co-founded in 2024 by Adithya LHS, Chakshu Masagali, and Pratik Pany, Nyayanidhi employs AI and automation to accelerate legal documentation, translations, and filings by a factor of ten, increasing both speed and reliability. By standardising processes and ensuring quality control, the firm endeavours to foster trust within the dispute resolution spectrum, allowing for cases to be managed with enhanced precision and accountability. The advocates in its network possess extensive legal knowledge, insights into various sectors, and mastery of procedures, while the firm’s oversight promotes a clear and outcome-oriented delivery of legal services.
Market research indicates that India’s legal landscape is currently grappling with over 50 million pending cases, alongside 20 million new filings annually. Nyayanidhi reports early achievements through pilot projects within High Courts, partnerships with enterprises, and support for multilingual drafting. The platform has claimed to handle thousands of litigation cases, demonstrating successful integration across a variety of legal scenarios.
