Strengthening Education Ties: Australia and India Collaboration
Strengthening education ties, Australia is advancing its connection with India. A delegation comprising 35 members from Australian Vocational Education and Training (VET) and edtech, representing 24 companies, is currently visiting New Delhi for a week to seek partnership opportunities within India’s education and skilling sectors. This group includes Registered Training Organisations (RTOs), TAFEs, non-university higher education providers, audio-visual system providers, and education management organisations.
Showcasing Offerings at Didac India 2025
The delegation will present its services under the Australia Pavilion at the Didac India 2025 event, taking place in New Delhi from 18–20 November 2025. This participation is facilitated by the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade), in collaboration with Global Victoria, Investment New South Wales, and Trade and Investment Queensland.
Exploring Collaborative Opportunities
Throughout the visit, the Australian representatives will engage with Indian government bodies, industry associations, and educational stakeholders across various schools and institutions. The aim is to explore opportunities for collaboration in curriculum development, technology integration, and pathways for lifelong learning.
Vik Singh, Trade and Investment Commissioner at Austrade, stated that Australia will naturally partner with India in cultivating future human capital. By facilitating this delegation visit, it highlights Australia’s commitment to linking Australian institutions and training providers, thereby strengthening the collaboration in skills development between Australia and India.
