Thimblerr Secures $1.4 Million for Fashion Supply Chain Innovation
Thimblerr has successfully raised $1.4 million in a bridging round led by Inflection Point Ventures, with support from 3one4 Capital, Mount Judi Ventures, Venture Catalysts, and We Founder Circle. This Bengaluru-based full-stack fashion supply chain platform intends to utilise the funds for customer acquisition, venturing into new categories, and enhancing its supply chain capabilities.
About Thimblerr
Established in 2022 by IIT alumni Piyush Jalan and Rishav Papneja, Thimblerr offers technologically-enabled manufacturing and design assistance to fashion brands. Their aim is to facilitate the transition from concept to production, achieving significantly shorter lead times. The company claims to reduce the traditional cycle from 180 days to just 30 to 60 days, supporting the creation of over 3,000 designs each month. Thimblerr collaborates with a range of clients, including Tata Trent, USPA, Snitch, and The Souled Store.
Innovative Cloud Factories
The company is currently developing a network of cloud factories backed by a robust ecosystem of over 800 machines and data-powered production systems. Thimblerr aims to serve as an infrastructure layer for India’s burgeoning fast fashion manufacturing sector, which is valued at approximately $5 billion and is experiencing an annual growth rate of 25 to 30 percent.

Co-founder Piyush Jalan stated that the company’s goal is to introduce speed, transparency, and reliability into the fast fashion supply chain within India, effectively connecting global brands with trusted manufacturers.
Investment Insights from Inflection Point Ventures
Inflection Point Ventures has invested over Rs 800 crores across 250 startups thus far. They have also launched Physis Capital, a $50 million Category 2 VC fund aimed at investing in pre-Series A to Series B growth-stage startups. This fund has already made capital deployments in six startups, with several more deals at advanced stages in the pipeline.
