FutureCure Health Secures Funding for Super-Speciality Care
FutureCure Health, a pioneering healthcare technology firm concentrating on super-speciality care, has successfully raised Rs 104 crore, approximately $11.5 million, in a funding round spearheaded by Carnelian Asset Management LLP, with several other investors joining in. This fundraising effort follows a previous funding round of $4 million in 2022, which had the backing of Kotak Alternate Asset Management, RVCF Ventures, and Unicorn India Ventures. The newly acquired funds are earmarked for broadening access to the diagnosis and treatment of vertigo, as stated by FutureCure Health in an official announcement.
Innovative Approach of NeuroEquilibrium
Founded in 2015 by Rajneesh Bhandari and Anita Bhandari, FutureCure operates through its fully-owned subsidiary, NeuroEquilibrium, which is a network of clinics dedicated to diagnosing and rehabilitating vertigo and dizziness. Unlike conventional treatments, NeuroEquilibrium aims to pinpoint the underlying cause of vertigo—whether it originates from the inner ear, brain, or balance pathways—allowing for targeted treatments instead of merely providing temporary relief.
Closing Global Gaps in Neuro-Otology Care
NeuroEquilibrium aims to fill a significant gap in global access to specialised neuro-otology care. By incorporating advanced diagnostic technologies, cloud-based remote systems, and innovative deep-tech solutions, the service extends precision healthcare beyond traditional urban hubs, positively impacting patients globally, while also promoting advanced medical technologies.
Expansion into Chronic Lifestyle Diseases
As NeuroEquilibrium grows its presence in hospitals across India and internationally, it is also venturing into chronic lifestyle conditions such as migraine and diabetes. The focus remains on leveraging technology to mitigate the shortage of specialist medical professionals. With precise and scalable diagnostics, FutureCure Health is positioned to democratise super-speciality healthcare, acting as a catalyst for improved patient outcomes.
Working in close collaboration with hospitals, ENT clinics, and neurology centres, NeuroEquilibrium claims to manage over 300 clinics within India and extend its services to 16 other countries. The initiative has reportedly facilitated diagnosis and treatment for more than 150,000 patients, leading to substantial improvements in their long-term health outcomes.
