Financial Highlights of Infra.Market

Infra.Market reported a gross revenue of Rs 18,472 crore (approximately $2.1 billion) in FY25, in contrast to Rs 14,530 crore in FY24, according to its consolidated financial reports filed with the Registrar of Companies (RoC).

Core Business Segments

Infra.Market operates across three main sectors: Structural products, finishing products, and lifestyle products, along with relevant services associated with product sales.

  • Structural Products: This segment, which includes concrete and various construction materials, serves as the principal revenue source, accounting for more than 60% of total revenue with Rs 11,176 crore in FY25.
  • Finishing Products: This vertical, covering plumbing, walling, roofing solutions, as well as plywood and laminates, recorded a revenue of Rs 1,924 crore for the fiscal year.
  • Lifestyle Products: This category comprises modular kitchens, consumer appliances, paints, and other related items, generating Rs 2,487 crore in FY25.

In addition to product sales, Infra.Market is also involved in construction services for infrastructure initiatives, equipment leasing, and external painting solutions. Revenue from construction equipment, spare parts, chemicals, and associated services contributed an additional Rs 2,884 crore in the last fiscal year.

Income and Expenses Overview

The company recorded non-operating revenue of Rs 84 crore, leading to a total income of Rs 18,556 crore in the previous fiscal year, compared to Rs 213 crore in non-operating income during FY24.

On the expenditure side, the cost of sourcing construction materials and equipment accounted for 75% of total expenses, reaching Rs 13,751 crore in FY25. Employee-related costs surged by 41% to Rs 564 crore, which includes Rs 40 crore related to ESOP charges.

Additionally, finance costs and freight and forwarding expenses saw significant increases of 45% and 47%, settling at Rs 805 crore and Rs 631 crore, respectively. Other overheads, including utilities, legal and professional fees, and travel expenses, escalated total expenses to Rs 18,250 crore in FY25, up from Rs 14,272 crore in FY24.

Profitability Metrics

While Infra.Market’s revenue and overall expenses rose at a comparable rate last fiscal year, a 60% decline in non-operating income along with increased overhead costs, such as financing and depreciation, resulted in a 42% dip in profit, falling to Rs 220 crore in FY25 from Rs 378 crore in FY24.

The company’s EBITDA margin improved to 7.97%, while its ROCE reached 12.11% in FY25. The expense-to-operating-revenue ratio for this Mumbai-based firm remained stable at Rs 0.99.

Market Position and Comparisons

Infra.Market operates in a competitive arena, alongside firms like OfBusiness, Zetwerk, and Moglix. Zetwerk announced a revenue of Rs 12,798 crore in FY25, while the other two companies have not yet revealed their FY25 figures. In FY24, OfBusiness reported a gross revenue of Rs 19,296 crore, while Moglix achieved Rs 4,964 crore.
