Secret Alchemist: The Perfume Brand Backed by Samantha Ruth Prabhu Raises $3 Million
Secret Alchemist, the perfume brand endorsed by Samantha Ruth Prabhu, has successfully secured $3 million in funding, with Unilever Ventures leading the investment. DSG Consumer Partners also joined this funding round. The financing is comprised of both primary and secondary capital, with $2.5 million classified as primary capital, while the remainder is secondary. This allowed several early angel investors to divest their holdings.
Previously, the Mumbai-based startup attracted $898,000 during a seed funding round led by IPV and other investors. The funds raised will be directed towards enhancing branding and marketing efforts, expanding the product range, and growing the team, as stated in a press release from Secret Alchemist.
