Cava Athleisure Secures Rs 40 Crore in Series A Funding

Cava Athleisure has successfully raised Rs 40 crore in a Series A funding round, with Sharrp Ventures leading the investment by contributing Rs 21 crore. V3 Ventures and existing investor Spring Marketing Capital also participated in this funding. Post this round of funding, Cava Athleisure is now valued at Rs 215 crore.

The Bengaluru-based startup had previously acquired $1.14 million in a seed funding round from Spring Marketing Capital and other investors in June 2024. The funds will be used to enhance product development, bolster brand identity, expand omnichannel distribution, and strengthen the leadership team, according to a press release from Cava Athleisure.

About Cava Athleisure

Established in 2022 by Ria and Shreya Mittal, Cava Athleisure is a direct-to-consumer (D2C) premium, sustainable athleisure brand designed for both men and women. The company prioritises comfort and quality, offering a range of versatile apparel, including leggings, joggers, and tops, crafted from BCI cotton and recycled polyester. This caters to a demographic of fitness-conscious young individuals.

Innovative Design Philosophy

Cava Athleisure strives to redefine everyday wear through a function-first, design-focused approach. Catering to the everyday athlete, the brand emphasises fabric quality, comfort, and India-specific fits, providing products that are adaptable for fitness, work, and everyday activities.

Growth Projections

Cava Athleisure has experienced rapid growth and is estimated to achieve Rs 40 crore in revenue by the end of FY26. The brand manages its own production facility, ensuring oversight in design, pattern-making, and quality control. It mainly targets Gen Z and millennials aged 15 to 30 who are in search of stylish, sustainable loungewear and workout attire.
