Xiaomi Pad 8 has recently entered the market, refreshing the flagship tablet category. Designed to compete with Apple’s iPad Air, it showcases comparable aesthetics, features, and functionalities. The Xiaomi Pad 8 features an 11.2-inch LCD display with a stunning 3.2K resolution and supports an impressive refresh rate of up to 144Hz. Additionally, it is available in a nano-texture display variant that diminishes reflectivity by 70%.

Xiaomi asserts that the nano-texture display caters to those who frequently read, write, or create on their tablets. By minimising reflections and glare, it delivers a more comfortable viewing experience in brightly lit settings.

In terms of performance, the tablet is equipped with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, coupled with up to 12GB of RAM, which enhances performance significantly compared to its predecessor.

Powering the device is a robust 9,200mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging, allowing for up to 9.3 hours of video playback, according to Xiaomi.

Connectivity options are extensive, including Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and a USB Type-C port.

The Xiaomi Pad 8 is also equipped with a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera, suitable for video calls and photography. It operates on Xiaomi HyperOS 3, integrating multiple productivity features such as split view, workstation mode, HyperAI support, and more.

This tablet also accommodates the new Xiaomi Focus Pen Pro, which can perform pinch and double-tap gestures, alongside the Focus Keyboard.

The Xiaomi Pad 8 will be offered in Titanium Blue and Graphic Grey colour options. The starting price for the 8GB + 128GB storage variant is Rs 33,999, while the 12GB + 256GB model is priced at Rs 36,999.

For those interested in the nano-texture display version, it will be available for Rs 38,999 for the 12GB + 256GB storage configuration.
