Xiaomi’s subsidiary Poco has introduced its latest X series smartphones in India, the Poco X8 Pro and Poco X8 Pro Max. These smartphones showcase a streamlined design, complemented by robust features, which include the state-of-the-art MediaTek Dimensity chip, upgraded camera systems, and more.
Additionally, Poco has unveiled a special POCO X8 Pro Iron Man Edition, showcasing a distinctive design inspired by the Iron Man theme. Below is all that one needs to know.
Poco X8 Pro Series: Specifications and Features
The Poco X8 Pro and Poco X8 Pro Max share a unified design, characterised by a pill-shaped rear camera module, dynamic RGB lighting, and a sleek flat design. Both devices are built for durability with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i and boast IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance.
The X8 Pro Max is equipped with a 6.83-inch AMOLED display, while the X8 Pro offers a slightly smaller 6.59-inch AMOLED display. Nonetheless, both models provide a 120Hz refresh rate, 1.5K resolution, and can achieve peak brightness of up to 3500 nits.
In terms of performance, the Poco X8 Pro Max runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s processor, paired with 12GB LPDDR5X Ultra RAM. Meanwhile, the X8 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra processor.
Both smartphones feature a dual rear camera setup comprised of a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. Notably, the main camera of the X8 Pro Max utilises a LightFusion 600 sensor for enhanced imaging.
The Poco X8 Pro Max is supported by a substantial 9,000mAh battery, whereas the X8 Pro is equipped with a 6,500mAh battery; both variants support rapid 100W wired charging.
Poco X8 Pro Series: Pricing in India
The Poco X8 Pro starts at a price of Rs 32,999 for the 8GB RAM variant. In contrast, the Poco X8 Pro Max is listed at Rs 42,999 for the variant with 256GB of storage. Customers can also benefit from a Rs 3,000 bank discount available on select bank cards. The sale for the Poco X8 Pro series is set to begin on March 23 on Flipkart.
