Aamra Seniors Club, an eldercare startup based in Gurugram, has successfully secured $150,000 in a pre-seed funding round from a coalition of angel investors. The funding will be allocated to enhance product-market alignment, develop a preventive ageing framework, and broaden its senior engagement centres. Established in 2025 by Sripriya Yegneswaran and Dr. Akanksha Saxena, Aamra aims to provide preventive eldercare via well-structured physical, cognitive, and social engagement programmes. This startup is currently operating its inaugural centre in Gurgaon.

Aamra reports an impressive member retention rate exceeding 90% at its centre, signifying robust participation among its users. This level of engagement highlights the effectiveness of their programmes in fostering a supportive environment for seniors.
Development of Aamra CARE Protocol
The company is also in the process of creating the Aamra CARE protocol, a comprehensive framework designed to evaluate and monitor physical stability, cognitive engagement, and social connectedness among seniors. This initiative aims to further enhance the quality of care and support accessible to elderly individuals.
