Apple Business – Integrated Platform for Businesses

Apple Business launches an all-encompassing enterprise platform that consolidates its various business and enterprise tools. This innovative platform is designed to assist companies in managing devices, engaging customers, and streamlining day-to-day operations through a unified interface.

Key Changes for Existing Apple Business Users

The most notable update for current Apple business users is the inclusion of mobile device management at no extra cost, which previously required a paid subscription under Apple Business Essentials. This feature is now available in over 200 countries.

Susan Prescott, Apple’s vice president of Enterprise and Education Marketing, mentioned that the company has successfully merged its most powerful business offerings into one straightforward and secure platform. This integration delivers essential features for organisations at various stages and in different sectors, including built-in device management, collaborative tools, and new customer outreach options.

What is Apple Business?

Historically, Apple provided three primary business tools: Apple Business Manager for app deployment, Apple Business Essentials for managing devices in small businesses, and Apple Business Connect for overseeing brand visibility across Maps and other services.

These tools have now been consolidated into one platform, known as Apple Business. The transition will be seamless, as existing business data will be automatically migrated to ensure a cohesive user experience.

Enhanced Mobile Device Management

With its built-in mobile device management functionality, Apple Business offers organisations a comprehensive perspective of their Apple devices, settings, and more, all from a single interface.

The platform also features new Blueprints that facilitate device setup with preconfigured settings and applications. This allows for zero-touch deployment, ensuring that new Apple products are ready for use immediately. Furthermore, subscriptions for Business Essentials will cease to incur monthly charges after April 14.

Business Email and Calendar with Custom Domain Support

Apple Business now features integrated email, calendar, and other directory services, enabling businesses to utilise their custom domain names.

This service includes scheduling tools like calendar delegation, alongside a built-in company directory equipped with personalised contact cards.

Brand and Location Management

The new platform will also encompass brand management tools, permitting businesses to oversee their brand names, logos, and other crucial details across Apple Maps, Wallet, and other applications.

Companies can customise place cards by adding photos, hours of operation, and location information, as well as incorporating custom actions such as ordering or reserving. Additionally, branding will be displayed in the Mail app and on tracked orders within Wallet.

As a significant development, Apple will begin showing advertisements in Maps across the US and Canada starting this summer. Businesses will have the opportunity to create ads that will appear in user searches within Maps through Apple Business.

The Apple Business companion app, along with its email, calendar, and directory features, is compatible with iOS 26, iPadOS 26, or macOS 26.
