CoinDCX is undergoing significant changes in its leadership as Sangeeth Aloysius and Satyartha Srivastava are set to depart, according to insiders. Aloysius previously held the position of SVP and Head of Product and Design, while Srivastava was VP and Head of Derivative Revenue, as indicated on their LinkedIn profiles. Both executives joined CoinDCX in May and July 2025, respectively. The company has yet to announce these changes officially.
Reports suggest that both executives are currently completing their notice periods. The reasons behind their exit could not be independently validated at the time of writing; however, their departures coincide with a period when companies frequently evaluate their teams and contributions. Startup Superb has sought confirmation from CoinDCX, Srivastava, and Aloysius regarding this matter. Updates will follow once a response is received.
In an unfortunate incident, the co-founders of CoinDCX were apprehended by the Mumbai Police last month related to an impersonation case. The company clarified that neither CoinDCX nor its founders and employees were involved in the fraudulent activities, which included counterfeit websites. Although the co-founders were subsequently released on bail, they encountered undue distress linked to the misuse of their brand identity and the associated legal challenges.
In response to this situation, CoinDCX introduced a Rs 100 crore ‘Digital Suraksha Network’ initiative, aiming to enhance fraud detection, user awareness, and collaborative efforts within the ecosystem, which includes training programs for law enforcement agencies. Furthermore, CoinDCX also experienced the exits of its Chief Technology Officer and Head of Legal last year. These recent departures contribute to a series of high-level exits at CoinDCX over the previous year, indicating that the firm is navigating through recent challenges linked to the impersonation case. Collectively, these changes highlight a transitional phase as the company seeks to stabilise its leadership framework.
