InCred Special Opportunities Fund-I: A New Milestone in Private Investments

InCred Special Opportunities Fund-I, the inaugural fund from InCred Alternative Private Investments, successfully reached its hard cap of Rs 1,500 crore. This achievement marks a significant milestone for the alternatives asset platform of InCred Capital, which has now raised over Rs 4,000 crore through its various performing credit and special situations strategies.

Investment Focus of InCred Special Opportunities Fund-I

The Category II close-ended Alternative Investment Fund has attracted participation from domestic family offices, ultra-high-net-worth individuals, as well as international investors. The primary focus of the fund is to invest in traditional economy sectors that possess strong asset backing, stable cash flows, and significant structural downside protection at the time of investment.

Deployment Across Key Sectors

Approximately 75% of the fund’s corpus has already been allocated to various sectors, including automotive, power, oil and gas, and hospitality. This strategic sector allocation underscores the fund’s commitment to investing in established industries with solid fundamentals.

Background and Performance of InCred Alternatives

InCred Alternatives launched its private credit platform in 2022 and has since demonstrated a solid track record in key areas such as origination, underwriting, active portfolio management, and income distribution. The platform aims to provide diverse alternative investment strategies, assisting investors in broadening their portfolios with private market opportunities.
