Apple CEO Tim Cook Steps Down

Apple CEO Tim Cook is set to resign from his position on September 1 after almost 15 years at the helm. He will transition into the role of executive chairman. The company has announced that John Ternus, who currently serves as Apple’s senior vice president of hardware engineering, will assume the role of chief executive officer effective September 1. This change was approved unanimously by Apple’s board.

Tim Cook took on the role of CEO in 2011, succeeding Steve Jobs, and guided Apple through a significant phase of growth in hardware, services, and international markets. Under his leadership, Apple introduced innovative products like the Apple Watch and AirPods while also expanding its services division considerably.

John Ternus: Apple’s Next CEO

John Ternus has been a part of Apple for nearly 25 years and is currently responsible for overseeing hardware engineering across major product lines, including the iPhone, iPad, Mac, and various other devices. His extensive experience will play a crucial role as he steps into this significant leadership position.
