Tringbox: Mumbai’s Innovative Music-Tech Startup

Mumbai’s Tringbox has made waves in the music-tech industry by raising Rs 5 crore in a seed funding round directed by Nikhil Gandhi via GIPL. The funding round also included contributions from MGB Family Office, Narendra Singh Yadav, the Chief Business Officer of Paytm, along with various angel investors through One Love Technologies, which is the startup’s parent company.

AI-Powered Music Intelligence Platform

Founded by Amandeep Singh Chawla, a former executive at Paytm, Tringbox is focused on creating an AI-driven in-store music intelligence platform. This technology is tailored for various commercial environments, including cafés, gyms, salons, restaurants, retail shops, clinics, and hotels.

Utilisation of Proceeds

The funds raised will be allocated towards enhancing product development, broadening its intelligent speaker network, and expanding deployments in upscale venues throughout India.

Stealth Mode Operations

Tringbox has been operating in stealth mode for the past year and asserts that it has already implemented its platform in more than 30 commercial establishments. Additionally, the company has secured support from NVIDIA Inception and AWS startup credits valued at Rs 1 crore, facilitating access to essential AI tools, technical assistance, and cloud infrastructure.

Hybrid Neuro-Symbolic Music Engine

At the heart of Tringbox’s platform is a unique Hybrid Neuro-Symbolic Music Engine that intelligently adjusts music selection based on various parameters such as the type of venue, weather conditions, temperature, time of day, and customer ambience. This technology evaluates audio attributes like tempo, rhythm, energy, loudness, and harmonic stability to offer tailored music experiences.

Additional Offerings

In addition to their primary enterprise solution, Tringbox features a QR-based song request system aimed at restaurants, bars, clubs, and entertainment venues. This function allows patrons to select songs while giving venue operators the ability to oversee playlists through AI-driven moderation.
