BlackBuck Financial Results Q1 FY27: Strong Growth and Performance
BlackBuck has released its financial outcomes for the first quarter of FY27 today. The Bengaluru-based firm exhibited a remarkable 42% year-on-year increase in its operating scale during this period, alongside a profit rise of 24%, amounting to Rs 42 crore.
The company’s revenue from operations escalated to Rs 204 crore in Q1 FY27, compared to Rs 144 crore in Q1 FY26, according to financial statements obtained from the National Stock Exchange (NSE). The revenue generated from truck operator services remained the primary income source for BlackBuck, accounting for 98.5% of its operating revenue of Rs 201 crore in Q1 FY27. Additionally, its lending segment contributed Rs 3.2 crore during the quarter. Interest income brought in Rs 16 crore, boosting the total revenue to Rs 220 crore in Q1 FY27, up from Rs 160 crore in the same quarter of the previous year.
Quarterly Performance Overview
On a quarterly comparison, BlackBuck’s operating revenue experienced an increase of over 10% from Rs 185 crore in Q4 FY26.
Expenditure Breakdown
Employee benefit costs represented over 24% of BlackBuck’s total expenses, rising 16% year-on-year to Rs 43 crore in Q1 FY27, up from Rs 37 crore in the same period last year. Depreciation along with other operating expenses escalated BlackBuck’s total expenditure to Rs 178 crore in Q1 FY27 from Rs 114 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.
Profit Analysis
BlackBuck recorded a 24% year-on-year growth in profit, reaching Rs 42 crore in Q1 FY27, rising from Rs 34 crore in the same quarter of the prior year. However, on a sequential basis, the company’s profit saw a decline of 36% from Rs 66 crore in Q4 FY26.
