Solinas Integrity Raises $5.5 Million in Series A1 Funding Round
Solinas Integrity, a deeptech startup situated in Chennai, has successfully secured $5.5 million during a Series A1 funding round. This round was co-led by Mela Ventures and Hero Enterprise Family Office, with participation from Luthra Group and additional investments from existing supporters such as SVL SME Fund, managed by SBI Ventures, Rainmatter Capital, and 8X Ventures Fund I. The new funding will be utilised to enhance manufacturing capacity, accelerate product development, improve the company’s software infrastructure, and assist with working capital needs.
Expansion Plans for International Markets
Solinas Integrity aims to broaden its reach in global markets, particularly focusing on the Middle East and Southeast Asia. Furthermore, the company is developing innovative robotics solutions tailored for water management, sanitation, industrial needs, and defence.
About Solinas Integrity
Established in 2018 by Divanshu Kumar and Moinak Banerjee, Solinas is an IIT Madras-incubated startup that creates robotics and AI-driven solutions for underground water and sanitation systems. Its product offerings include Endobot, designed for pipeline inspections, HomoSEP for mechanised cleaning of sewer and septic tanks, and SWASTH AI, an infrastructure intelligence platform that utilises inspection data for asset mapping and predictive analytics.
Widespread Implementation of Solutions
As noted by the company, its innovative solutions have already been implemented in over 30 cities across 15 Indian states, and they are also currently employed by the Dubai Municipality. Solinas is making advances into related sectors such as oil and gas and defence, applying its robotics and inspection technologies to vital infrastructure.
Focus on Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene
Operating within the water, sanitation, and hygiene sector, Solinas Integrity addresses a growing demand for mechanised inspection and maintenance tools that help minimise water loss and enhance management of underground infrastructure. The startup asserts that its integrated robotics platform facilitates inspection, cleaning, digitisation, and lifecycle management of both underground water and wastewater networks.
