Centricity Secures Rs 280 Crore in Series A Funding
Centricity, a wealth management firm located in Gurugram, has successfully secured Rs 280 crore (around $30 million) in its Series A funding round, spearheaded by SMBC Asia Rising Fund. Significant participation came from existing backers such as Lightspeed India Partners, Burman Family Office, RAAY Investments, Stride Venture, and Innoven Capital. Startup Superb first reported on this deal in May of this year.
The company previously gathered $4 million in funding in 2022 and an additional $18 million in 2024. Centricity aims to broaden its footprint in India and international markets by enhancing its GIFT City and DIFC-based offerings.
Utilisation of Fresh Funds
The newly acquired funds will be dedicated to enhancing Centricity’s technology platform, broadening its distribution network, and expanding its private wealth and NRI (Non-Resident Indian) sectors. Plans are in place to recruit over 50 private bankers in India along with 35-40 NRI bankers.

With a network of more than 20,000 partners and around one lakh investors, Centricity serves upwards of 250 family offices. The company boasts a workforce of over 800 employees and anticipates generating over Rs 150 crore in revenue by FY27.
Financial Performance
Centricity’s operating revenue saw a more than threefold increase, soaring to Rs 61.26 crore in FY25, up from Rs 19.02 crore in FY24. However, the firm’s losses also expressed a broader gap, widening to Rs 31.72 crore from Rs 9.31 crore within the same timeframe. The revenue figures for FY26 remain unavailable.
Wealthtech Landscape in India
Data provided by Startup Superb indicates that Indian wealthtech startups raised over $634 million across 51 transactions involving 39 startups during 2024 and 2025. In 2026 alone, Neo Group raised Rs 350 crore ($36.3 million) in a funding round led by existing investor Peak XV Partners. Furthermore, Veriqus Group attracted Rs 387 crore (approximately $40 million) in a funding round driven by Norwest Venture Partners.
Earlier in 2026, AssetPlus secured $19.3 million, Wint Wealth obtained $28 million, Sahi raised $33 million in a Series B round, and Bachatt closed a $12 million Series A round, led by Accel. Meanwhile, Jiraaf is actively seeking additional capital through an extended Series B round.
